ScanBelt to launch new conveyor belt at AgroProdMash 2015

Published 07 September 2015

ScanBelt has developed a new conveyor belt targeting the Russian food processing industry. The conveyor belt is set to be launched at the AgroProdMash 2015 show.

The AgroProdMash 2015 show is an international exhibition of machinery, equipment, ingredients targeting the food processing industry and held in Moscow, Russia. This year it is being held between 5 and 9 October.

The new conveyor belt is claimed to be easy to clean and durable, thereby ensuring minimal to zero damage to food, reported GlobalMeat News.

ScanBelt vice president of sales and export Carl Erik Taxbro was quoted by GlobalMeatNews as saying: "It has to be easy and straightforward for food producers to reduce bacteria on food. Therefore, this conveyor belt is designed with a more open design than any other on the market. This secures an easier cleaning process, which results in better hygiene."

Taxbro also added that the belt is designed in a way that it can be configured in several ways. "For the manufacturers, this means that the belt can be applied to existing production lines, with tailor-made solutions in proportion to size and various accessories, which enables the belt to perform various tasks."

ScanBelt has been a supplier to many food processors across the world.
