FBR Staff Writer Published 26 March 2013

US-based producer of compound gourmet butters Nantucket Butter has inked a co-packer agreement with Blount Fine Foods.

Blount Fine Foods co-packs for Panera Bread and Legal Sea Foods among others from their facility in Fall River, Massachusetts.

As per the agreed terms, Blount Fine's facility will commence its first production of Nantucket Butter compound gourmet butters this week.

Commenting on the deal Nantucket Butter CEO David-William Coffin said that company will now have an increased capacity to meet the increasing consumer demand for its butters following the closure of the deal.

"We look forward to supplying Nantucket Butter Company products to locations near you," added Coffin.

Currently, Nantucket Butter offers five flavors of compound gourmet butters such as Herbal Garlic, Dill Delight, Tarragon Treat, Lemon Basil, and Cranberry Honey.
