All Natural Freshness unveils HPP patented barrier free removable end cap

FBR Staff Writer Published 29 January 2013

US-based All Natural Freshness has unveiled fully barrier free removable end cap High Pressure Processing (HPP) baskets that can reduce loading by up to 33% and unloading by up to 50% and boost the HPP manufacturing throughput.

All Natural Freshness president Gerald Ludwick said that an absolute key to the best throughput possible in a food manufacturing facility, utilizing HPP, is the speed at which product can be loaded off the line into HPP Baskets and then unloaded from the HPP Basket.

HPP is a cold water ultra-high pressure based technology that can extend the shelf-life of fresh products. In High Pressure Pasteurization, the food products are first immersed in water and then subjected to water pressure in order to reduce the spoilage microbes and achieve a shelf life extension of between 2x and 3x of the actual shelf life of the product.

All Natural Freshness' Quick Grip Removable End Cap baskets are available on the Avure Technologies 350L, 215L, and FresherTech 200L, 300L, 400L, 500L high pressure pasteurization machines.

Avure designs, manufactures and markets high-pressure pressing equipment for high pressure removal of food borne pathogens, substantially extending the shelf life of packaged foods without chemical additives or preservatives.

Chic FresherTech designs, develops and manufactures High Pressure Processing (HPP) technology for commercial, industrial and research applications.
